Cat here, a.k.a. InkieCat a.k.a. Cathie but just keep calling me CAT here at my new TypePad home as I try to share my randomness on the internet as the whim comes and goes.

From Vox.com to now TypePad I'll plan to get back to seriously writing about the things that I love.

Those who know me know I love MOVIES, I love talking about movies and when I'm not on some MOVIE outing I've still got movies on the brain. Other time when I finally give movies a break I'm buying comic books and twittering about many silly things.

So here I am to say I'm still doing my random bits and passing them on! yup yup yup!

This Cat Still Meows

Oh Vox I never really forget you...

My Blog days continue as I'm still rattling on mostly at Cat's Blog sharing movie adventures and other nonsense. Also I've decided to give my Comic Books some long overdue attention and write about them at a place I call Cat Reads Comics. 

So those are my spots. I'm gonna try and visit here more often and share random thoughts.

2010 is good so far, and here's hoping I find a new fun job, and see even more movies then I did in 2009. I have to beat 505 new flicks! I hope everyone else out there has some wild and crazy fun too! yup yup yup!

march is here

So it is march, a big month for me, as before the month ends I will celebrate my 32nd birthday! It's going to be a momentous occasion as I will ring in the big day with my favorite movie of all time! DARKMAN. I am currently counting down to that night and have hope some close friends will be able to join me and have some fun. 

it's weird.

Time is again flying by me and I don't know where I'm going. 

I am in the midst of change, it was close to this time last year that my world had a big change and with recent events well, I'm still a little more than confused. I'm going to do all that I can to make things happy and fun. I'm getting back to my more familiar state of mind...slowly

Again I rattle on. But that's what I do ;)

Movies are my remedy, movies are what I love, movies are fun and there's some special things ahead...in this town of  mine...yup.

Whew, March..don't give me whiplash, let me enjoy these days, one day at a time, here and now. yup.

2009 is here

I almost forgot I had a little VOX world out in the internets realm...it's funny coming back here and see that I talked about Roller Skating back in March and I'm actually in a mood to go roller skating again...strange little coincidences...how many blogs is too many blogs? how many social networks is too many networks? it's fun though and i don't think I can get enough...before i know it 2009 will be done...but I can't worry about that now...one day at a time,...yup yup yup

Tuesday Things

Another day at work and things are fine and dandy, I'm a little tired after a roller skate adventure last night. Went to one rink and couldn't get in due to some police activities and ran to another and skated to the song XANADU. Tonight it's time for grindhouse double feature!!! Can't wait. Wish work was done already!

Yuma vs. Shoot

This friday two good movies come out, 3:10 to YUMA and SHOOT 'EM UP. 

I've seen both already (hee) and have been thinking which would I see again this weekend? It's a tough choice because I really dug these two movies a lot! 

Both have action, cool actors, and both take you on a good ride. 

3:10 to Yuma delivers as a raw brutal western. 

Shoot 'em Up is an ultra violent with on continuous gun battles and chases. 

These flicks are both worth seeing in my book, I'd say it's time for a double feature weekend.

At Safari Sam's hanging out waiting for Trainwreck to hit the stage. First band was called NUDITY. I don't like them much after that show, the main reason being the FKN' bassist tossed shit into the crowd and lucky little me got pegged by a maraca. (cue laughter) The crowd was pretty weak at this point and I lingered around the stage and d'oh the maraca hit me. I stood in stunned shock. A girl next to me goes, "Are you ok?" "Yeah" I said. These guys beside me grabbed the maraca and grooved along...If I had to do over again I would have taken the maraca and chucked it back to bean the Bassist. I just couldn't believe I had been hit! WTF!?!?
